‘They Made Us Climb Up Here’, by Satan is my brother, offers a dark blend of smoked, eerie Jazz music that almost melts into drone waves. Thanks to the low but hellish background rumble, the sound is getting closer and closer to a sinister, unsettling ritual in hypnotic meditation, than to anything else. That is why I like this album so much. It seems like these five paths are all leading to the same mesmerizing destination, but the roads are so different and challenging.

‘They Made Us Climb Up Here’ exists through obscure sounds and almost sporadic melodies. Way more dark and drone than actually Jazz, I would suggest this great album to fans of music that comes from the deep core of the underground, as well as the deep core of the psyche.
